After her sophomore season at Bethlehem, Katie Rowan was considered one of the best defensive players in Section II. She put that behind her this year.
With the majority of the offensive players from the Eagles' 2003 state runner-up team graduating, Rowan moved to that side of the field. Lining up as an attacker, all Rowan did was produce 68 goals and 62 assists to lead the area with 130 points and become the Player of the Year on the Times Union 2004 All-Area Girls' Lacrosse Team.
