Fed: Speed the key issues in crashes: survey

ADELAIDE, Jan 13 AAP - Speed is considered the most likely cause of road crashes bythe Australian community, a new survey has found.
But almost a third of those questioned still thought it was okay to speed providedthey were driving safely.
Conducted on behalf of the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB), the survey quizzed1,563 people across Australia in March and April last year.
